As a warm-up for December’s Gingerbread Spectacular Exhibit, the Opera House’s technical director and holiday set designer extraordinaire Kevin Kiley will lead a free class on the ups and downs of gingerbread house design and construction. It is hoped that many of the students of this class will head home armed with gingerbread recipes and icing techniques and create their own spectacular creations and enter them in the holiday show at the Opera House.  There is no fee to take the class, but all must register in advance. Call the box office at 207-633-5159. All ages encouraged, but children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Class begins promptly at 3 pm, students may arrive beginning at 2:30pm.
