The 2026 Open Mic Season begins tonight. Doors for sign-ups open at 5:30pm and the mic goes live at 6pm. Bring a song, a poem, a comedy sketch or what have you (?) and gather with neighbors and friends in the upstairs bar area of the Opera House. Emcee: Eric Lowe. In an effort to allow as many people as possible to share their talent, mic time is limited to 10 minutes/2 songs. Depending upon how many sign ups there are at the door, a second trip to the mic may be possible. Cold drinks for sale at the bar. Our volunteer Friends group will have homemade chili and cornbread, coffee & desserts for sale. Cover charge for all – $5 at the door.
