Advertising:
While the Opera House is open all year long, our busiest season runs from May-October. Our printed summer program reaches thousands of visitors as well as local residents. Typically advertising rates run from $150 to $1000 and ad copy must be received by late April to be included in the season’s guide. Advertisers are also listed on our website with links to their business website. Through their support, advertisers in our summer program directly help underwrite the acts that come to the stage
Volunteering at Events:
With a tiny staff (3) and a mission of Arts Building Community, the Opera House celebrates and relies upon a committed team of volunteers to help both on the days and nights of programming, as well as with mailings, poster distribution, gardening and maintenance projects, printed design work and more. Our most visible volunteer position is that of usher at performances and since ushers are responsible for the safety of audience members some basic training is required in advance of ushering. Volunteers donate approximately 1500 hours annually to the operation of the Opera House.
Charitable Contributions:
The Opera House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are dedicated to preserving the historic Opera House while providing a diverse array of ticketed and free community performances throughout the year. Outright charitable contributions to the Opera House are gratefully accepted throughout the year and are considered entirely tax-deductible. Of note, membership support is partially tax deductible due to the benefits members receive in thanks for their membership support.
