Effective May 8, the Opera House will no longer require audience members to provide proof of vaccination, or a negative Covid test, on the night of the show. Some performers may continue to require audience members to provide proof of vaccination, and some have required that audience members wear masks. If their management has made us aware of these requirements, these will be listed in advance under the show description in the calendar section. We appreciate your cooperation. If you don’t agree with the policy, that is your choice, but please don’t argue with our staff and volunteers. We will be keeping the windows open during performances for extra ventilation, so bring a jacket if the evening is predicted to be cool. If Covid hospitalizations and deaths begin to climb as the 2022 season gets fully underway, the above policy may change again. Questions? Call the box office at 207-633-5159.
